Two Unique OBIEE Consultant positions in Houston, TX. Both are high profile in the Oncology industry.
Project One assignment: High Profile Engagements SCD Reporting Tumor Management The Senior Data Integration Developer will design, develop, test and deploy the OBIEE user access layer and visualization components for the SCD Reporting Tumor Management project
Designs and develops OBIEE user access layer to support reporting and analysis requirements within the Oracle BI Repository.
Designs and develops OBIEE vizulization components to meet reporting and analysis requirements
Works with Data Modelers and Informatica ETL Developers to refine logical and physical data models, resolve appropriate locations for business rules and logic, and determine requirements for aggregate tables.
Performs unit testing for all OBIEE development. Also provides assistance during system testing activities.
Assists in the setup and implementation of the underlying reporting and analytics environments and processes.
Assists Database Administrators with database performance and tuning activities.
Completes required technical project documentation to be used in production support and future development activities.
Identifies and resolves project issues.
Identifies, recommends and incorporates quality assurance and risk mitigation activities into issue resolutions/solutions..
Performs other duties and projects as assigned by project manager and/or manager.
6+ years of experience in software systems implementation and Business Intelligence reporting and analysis development experience.
Experience developing user access layers in OBIEE
Experience developing and maintaining data marts and/or data warehouses.
Demonstrated expertise developing reports, analytics and dashboards in OBIEE
Experience using SQL development tools such as SQLPLUS, TOAD, DBArtisan, etc. (3+ years)
Strong SQL development skills, including SQL scripting and stored procedures
Data warehouse and BI concepts, solution architecture and design best practices
Relational and dimensional modeling concepts and ability to read and interpret ER diagrams
Experience with basic productivity software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
