The Data Analyst / Business Analyst will be a member of the Sales Reference Data Technology Team responsible for managing data quality initiatives across the various reference data programs including client, product, trade and people domains.

Data Analyst / Business Analyst:
Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the Sales Reference Data domain.
Establish data quality reporting processes and analyze data quality reports to identify potential data anomalies across multiple areas of reference data.
Attentively pursue data quality issues to their root cause and seek intelligent solutions to improve data quality through manual data cleanup / systemic automation.
X Work closely with global users to understand business needs, document requirement specifications and work with technology teams to define and present solution proposals.

The data / business analyst must:
X Possess 4-6 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, including 2-4 years focused on data analysis / business analysis in Sales Technology.
X Have several years of practical, hands-on experience as a data / business analyst, and therefore have insight into how to improve processes around requirements scope, definition and requirements gathering,
X Proficient in usage of SQL for data analysis. Proficient with all standard Microsoft applications including experience with PowerPoint presentations as well as data management / query writing skills via Access.
X Knowledge of process flow documentation and or familiarity with DMAIC process; experience with general project management skills.
X Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, and be very capable with data analysis and productivity tools such as Excel / Access.

T&E is a BSP application that uses a lot of object-oriented technology, involving ABAP primarily. The BSP needs to be modified, and enhanced as per the functional requirements that will be provided. The developer will also need to modify the data dictionary to add new custom fields.
