Position Summary:
This SW Developer position is located within the Professional Services division of our client. It is primarily a customer engagement based software development position that requires advanced technical, organizational, and communication skills. Previous senior-level experience in designing and developing internet e-commerce systems is preferred. Specifically, the Senior Software Developer position is responsible for designing and developing internet based on-line banking applications, under the guidance of a lead development manager. The Staff Software Developer position is responsible for troubleshooting code defects with existing production systems as well as designing and developing internet based on-line banking applications. This work generally will occur under the guidance of a lead development or project manager.
The following requirements apply to the Staff Software Developer role. Greater experience may be considered for a higher level position.
Key Basic Requirements:
Bachelors degree required with a degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 3 years of software development experience with two of those years spent designing and developing internet e-commerce or e-finance applications.
Experienced ASP.NET and C# developer.
Experienced in XML, XML Schemas, and Web Service technology.
Strong web UI design and development experience
Strong integration design and development experience
Strong problem solving skills
Experienced in designing and developing solutions for high volume internet sites
Strong architecture skills
Strong Analysis, design and build skills
Minimum of 2 years of project development / methodologies experience: full system development lifecycle, Agile, etc
Experienced in writing stored procedures within Microsoft SQL Server.
Experienced in developing and documenting use cases using Rational software.
Experienced in conducting development activities using stringent source code control procedures.
Experienced in developing estimates for design, development, and unit testing of application functionality for the engagement.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Overtime will be required as necessary
