Client is in need for a Drupal Developer/Architect for a 3-6+ month opportunity in the Atlanta area. The details are below:

Description:
Client is seeking an experienced Drupal Application Architect to join their team. Although the position is primarily Drupal-focused, the ideal candidate should have an interest in topics like security, performance, and scalability across the LAMP stack. We are looking for candidates with strong technical Drupal background, which usually equates to four or more years working as a Drupal developer or architect. This position requires excellent critical thinking, planning, time management, and communication skills. The right candidate will work well in a small team environment and will be eager to expand his or her knowledge and programming skills.

Responsibilities and contributions include:
--Gathering site/application requirements and developing Drupal solutions that meet them
--Performing application security risk assessments, threat modeling, and compliance reviews
--Providing leadership at clients surrounding Drupal best practices and development methodologies
--Identifying and cheerleading for opportunities to contribute to the Drupal community
--Facilitating knowledge transfer on Drupal best practices with multi-disciplinary teams
--Managing offshore programmers

Additional required skills include:
--Understand the difference between PHP based web application & Drupal based web application
--Worked on Drupal 5.x, 6.x (good to know about 7.x)
--Worked on high-traffic Drupal based web applications
--Knowledge of Drupal architecture, scaling Drupal, optimizing/tuning and SEO
--Knowledge of web security - specifically handling security layer in drupe
--Perform code reviews to ensure design specifications and development best practices are followed
--Integrating Drupal with 3rd party libraries and platforms
--Able to tune the complete LAMP stack for optimized returns
--Clear understanding of available Drupal modules reusability and experience building custom modules
--Worked with CCKs, views, panels, blocks, form API
--Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
--Ability to work and communicate effectively across teams located globally
--Good written and oral communication skills
--Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
--Must be proactive, self-motivated, attentive to detail, and able to work well under pressure
--Self-starter who can operate well under a variety of different situations and types of projects, ranging from a team of one to a team of many.
