Senior Technical Analyst

Job Description:
Senior Technical Analyst is responsible for architecting and developing technical solutions that match clients business needs. Client is looking for someone who can develop robust solutions within the customers environments, and provide guidance and leadership to both clients and Internal Technical Analyst. Candidate should be enthusiastic about working in a quickly expanding startup company.

Job Responsibilities
X Analyze business processes and provide innovative and scalable solutions.
X Consults with business analyst/project manager to architect and develop appropriate technical solutions.
X Advises on options, risk and impacts on business processes and technical architecture.
X Follow-up on outstanding client needs and provide timely status reports to project manager.
X Communicates technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
X Builds positive relationships with external clients by providing excellent service/support and consistent communication as appropriate.
X Performs accurate internal operational tasks such as time tracking, expense reporting and knowledge sharing.


Job Skills
Required Skills
X Experience developing on Service-now
X Robust knowledge of web based development languages; specifically JavaScript, Ajax, HTML/CSS
X Expert knowledge of Prototype and Object-Oriented JavaScript
X Knowledge and experience with LDAP
X Knowledge and experience with Web services or SOAP
X Regular Expressions expert
X Experience with Systems Integration

Preferred Skills
X Experience developing on Service-now, Salesforce.com or similar platforms
X Experience with ITIL/ITSM
X Consulting experience is helpful
X Java or C# development experience (nice to have)
X Exposure to IT Service Management tools such as:
o HP Web Jetadmin
o Remedy ATR
o SCCM (Novice)
o HP Radia
X Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) application development
X Access
X SQL
X Has proven leadership experience in managing small teams and projects.
Education
X Computer science degree or similar preferred but not necessarily a disqualifier

Part of work in Chicago and Part in NJ. Expenses to second location will be paid.
